Sushi Lessons with our Sushi Chef

Satsumaya Sushi Restaurant is a well-established sushi restaurant

that has been in　business since 1955.Sushi lessons are taught by

our 30-year experiencedItachō (Sushi Chef).Our lessons range from

introductory to very advanced,teaching how to make various rolls

and nigiri sushi,　as well as preparing the rice and fish of all types.

Born in Fujisawa, Kanagawa. Satsumaya Sushi Restaurant’s

Itachō (Sushi Chef).

Started teaching how to make sushi from March 2009 as　his life work

to hand down the sushi-making tradition to the next generation.

His “Fun, Beautiful,and Delicious Sushi Lessons” are very well reputed.

He is promoting “Chisan-chisho”(local production for local consumption)

recipes using local seafood, eggs, vegetables, etc.

Together with his bilingual wife, he teaches how to make sushi to

students from abroad and by doing so encouraging

cultural exchanges.
